Vital Role

Susan has done a great job of keeping us organized but she is stepping away from her role as Indoor Programs Coordinator this Spring. The children’s basketball and soccer programs are ran by separate individuals, what we’re looking for here is someone to help us organize the adult programs such as Pilates, Zumba and Yoga. Please contact us if you are interested in learning more about this position and getting to know some of the other folks on the Holliston Community Association a little better. Email

Sister Communities

We are not alone! The fine residents of Holliston, Massachusetts have contacted us to start a conversation about our like-named communities. The Holliston CA president Kelly Macsymic has already posted a quick blurb to them about our Holliston and we hope to get something similar back. Do you want to get involved? We are looking for anyone that might want to be an pen pal (even by email) or possibly Skype. Here is a link to their website.

Help Wanted

Holliston Preschool is looking for qualified substitute teachers. Anyone interested may email the preschool directly at hollistoncommunitypreschool@gmail.com

Holliston Neighbourhood Traffic Review

If you live east of Wiggins Ave, south of 8th Street, west of Preston Ave and north of Adelaide Street, this notice is important to you.

The City of Saskatoon’s Transportation Division is seeking your input on traffic issues in your neighbourhood. Local knowledge is important and we want to hear about your experience and solutions for improving traffic in Holliston. A variety of traffic issues were presented to residents at the Holliston Neighbourhood Traffic Review meeting held on Tuesday, March 18th at Walter Murray Collegiate.

Attendance at this meeting was lower than expected. We know that possible changes to your neighbourhood are important to you and want to make sure your perspective is considered when the Transportation Division drafts a plan to address Holliston traffic issues. Please complete the back of this form and mail it to the undersigned at the bottom of the next page or add your comments online at http://shapingsaskatoon.ca/discussions/holliston-neighbourhood-traffic-review-meeting.

All written and on-line input must be received by May 20, 2014. The City of Saskatoon appreciates your contributions.
